The kingdom of God is not a matter of external territory but of internal. His kingdom is Him reigning in the hearts of man! When Jesus says “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33 NKJV)” He’s not asking us to seek signs, wonders, finances, gifting, ideas, etc. but our relationship with Him. The only way that God’s kingdom will come to earth is by completely surrendering our hearts to Him. Our hearts were made for Him to live in! If He reigns in our hearts then His kingdom has come anywhere we are.
When this takes place, every need we have will be met. No worry, just trusting in Him.
In times that I feel anxious, stressed, unsure about anything or need direction, I just tell my self, “spend more time with God and less time trying to figure out what to do.” He’s never failed to show me His will, I’ve only failed to seek Him.
